Another Australian has joined the Women’s Super League. Chloe Logarzo has signed for Bristol City from Sydney FC.
The 25-year-old midfielder has global experience but will take to the Women’s Super League for the first time.
She has played in the W-League, the NWSL for Wshington Spirit and the Norweigan Toppserien for Alvadsnes.
She made four appearances for Australia at the World Cup last year. Her contribution to the Matildas was very important, grabbing a goal and an assist during their 3-2 win over Brazil in the group stage.
Logarzo also has Champions League experience, with both Alvadsnes and Swedish side Eskilstuna United.
Chloe is the fifth signing of the winter window for Bristol City. The Vixens have also added Elise Hughes and Faye Bryson from Everton, Megan Wynne from Spurs and Jeon Ga-Eul from Hwacheon KSPO.
Tanya Oxtoby’s side are trying to strengthen their side in a bid to aid their survival effort in the Women’s Super League.
Bringing in a player of Chloe Logarzo and her quality and experience will go a long way to helping that effort.
City have struggled with injuries this season and need all the depth they can get in their pursuit of survival.
She has helped Sydney to sit third in the W-League table a third of the way through the season.
Chloe Logarzo will join up with Bristol City following the Australian Olympic qualifiers at the start of February.
