England star Ella Toone says she is “hungrier than ever” to lift trophies at Manchester United after signing a new long-term contract at the club.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been in fine form for the Red Devils this season and the club have rewarded her with a bumper new contract until 2026.
A star of the Lionesses’ memorable Euro 2022 success, Toone has played a key role in United’s rise in stature since their formation in 2018. She has cited her desire to lift trophies at her childhood club as one of her main reasons in committing to a longer stay.
“I’m delighted to sign a new contract at Manchester United,” she told the club media channels.
“The club’s ambitions really match mine and there’s nowhere better for me to learn.

“As a club, our ambitions are so high now. We are hungrier than ever to achieve something. This club is about winning trophies and for us as players, that’s what we want.”
Head coach Marc Skinner was equally as delighted to tie down one of his crown jewels.
“Ella’s long-term commitment to Manchester United is yet more proof of the club’s continued investment in the future success of this team,” he said.
“Ella has always been and remains a key member of our squad on and off the field, and we are delighted she will continue to wear our famous colours with pride for years to come.”
