Who is Eni Aluko?

The opportunity to sign Eni Aluko is rather brilliant. She is also one of the most decorated players for England, with 102 international caps to her name, five FA Cups and three English League titles.

She has represented England at three Women’s World Cups and featured for Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympics.

Aluko retired at aged 32 in 2019, after playing for Italian giants Juventus. She has played for some of the most well-known clubs worldwide, including clubs in America.

Shortly after retiring, Aluko was named the Sporting Director Aston Villa Women in January 2020. Then, in May 2021, she announced she would be the first-ever sporting director of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) team Angel City.

With all that said, to have a legend like her come back to the pitch and play would undoubtedly be a sight for every football fan. And what better way to do it than for a charity game?

How can you have her on your team?

With entries open from the 7th January until the 28th, anyone associated with a Sunday League team can enter. Meaning parents, partners, friends, and family can get involved for the chance to get some transfer window glory.

“I’m passionate about football being a game for everyone, which is why this opportunity means a lot to me. Dream Transfer means anybody can get involved in the Transfer Window and get stuck into the action. Let the drama unfold! I’m looking forward to playing with a new team – whoever and wherever they might be?”
