
The 2020/21 Football Kenya Federation Women’s Premier League regular season has come to an end. Defending champions Vihiga Queens and rivals Thika Queens topped their zones, both finishing the season undefeated.
In Zone A, Thika Queens wrapped up the season with a 5-0 win over relegated Mathare United Women at Camp Toyoyo in Nairobi.
Thika finished at the top of the Zone A standings with 42 points, 13 points ahead of second placed Gaspo Women. The Nairobi-based club ended the season with a 3-3 draw against Makolanders.
Ulinzi Starlets finished third after playing against Zetech Sparks, who ended the season with 18 points.
Kayole Starlets against Kibera Soccer Ladies ended 2-1. The result meant that Kayole finished fourth on 16 points. The defeat for Kibera meant they were relegated, alongside Makolanders and Mathare Women.
In Zone B, Vihiga Queens played Trans Nzoia Falcons. The match ended 3-2, taking the league champions to 40 points.
Nakuru Queens, Wadadia, Trans-Nzoia and Kisumu All Starlets finished second to fifth, respectively. Meanwhile, Eldoret Falcons, Sep Ladies and Oseria Ladies were all relegated.
