Liga F continues this weekend on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of October. The seventh matchday will be the decor of Liga F.

Contrary to popular belief, Spain’s top flight constantly brings us exciting matches and this weekend should not be different at all. Let’s take a look at the action ahead of us this weekend.

Liga F Saturday matches

Real Betis vs Valencia CF

At noon, the first game of this round will be played in the Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol. Real Betis plays host to Valencia CF, who are currently seventh in the table. Betis on the other hand, really need to score and get some points, to leave the penultimate position in the current Liga F table and stay away from relegation danger.

Eibar vs Villarreal

Eibar will play in Ipurúa against a confident Villareal, who managed to get the first three points in the previous matchday. They managed to win 3-0 against Athletic Club. Basque outfit Eibar need to win to get away from the relegation positions. A loss could be detrimental.

Sporting de Huelva vs Atlético de Madrid

Atlético de Madrid visit Andalusia to meet the bottom team Sporting de Huelva. The games will start at the Campo Federativo de la Orden at 16:00 local time. Sporting de Huelva are forced to win if they want to at least start thinking about climbing on the table after seven matchdays. Otherwise, it will be very tough and all the work will be focused on the second half of the season.

FC Barcelona vs Granada

The current league champions will be hosts at the Johan Cruyff Stadium at 18:30, as newly promoted team Granada CF comes to visit. The Andalusians have won only one game of the last six. Granada hope to compete with Barcelona as they did last week with Real Madrid CF, which was quite impressive.

Liga F Sunday matches

Athletic Club vs Real Sociedad

There is the Basque derby to start our Sunday in a very exciting way. At field two of Lezama Athletic Club will play Real Sociedad in a very important match. Both teams haven’t had the most ideal start, so a good performance is crucial. No doubt whoever wins will not only win the derby but will take advantage of a direct opponent and move up the table.

Madrid CFF vs UD Granadilla Tenerife

Madrid CFF will play at home at the Estadio Fernando Torres to UD Granadilla Tenerife, a team that comes from winning last week at home and has an upward movement on the table. On the other hand, the home team is third in Liga F and aims to achieve victory to get closer to FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Levante Las Planas vs Sevilla

Levante Las Planas and Sevilla FC will meet in the Municipal Camp Les Planes at 16:00. It will be an interesting duel since the home team has started the league in great fashion. On the other hand, Sevilla seek to get points drastically, as they try to get away from the bottom of the table.

Real Madrid vs Levante

In the Alfredo Di Estafano Stadium at 18:30, Real Madrid will play Levante in what will be a direct duel for the top positions in the table. Real Madrid CF is second and Levante UD fifth, but five points separate the two. Undoubtedly a spectacular match in which the winner will do very good business going forward.
