Racing Louisville FC have agreed to trade Ebony Salmon to the Houston Dash for $150,000 in 2022 Allocation money and $25,000 in 2023 Allocation money.

There is also a potential for an added $15,000 of Allocation money this year if Salmon meets certain performance-based criteria with the Dash.

Prior to the NWSL, Salmon played in the Women’s Super League with Bristol City. She scored six goals and notched an assist before being named Bristol’s Women’s Player of the Year.

Last summer, Salmon made the trip across the pond to play with the new expansion team Racing Louisville FC. She scored her first goal with the club in seconds of her debut and bagged the game-winner. She went on to have six goals and three assists throughout the NWSL campaign.

This season, Salmon has seen considerably less time on the pitch than last season. She wanted to get minutes, so when a trade was mentioned, she took it.

Salmon now joins a Houston Dash team that has played fairly consistently this season. She joins the likes of Maria Sanchez and Rachel Daly in leading the attack. Her speed and ball control will allow for goals and playmaking from the young forward.

Salmon will be available for selection when the Dash take on Kansas City Current on July 1st after the international break.
