Kim Little is set to join OL Reign on a short-term loan deal from June 1st, 2022, until August 15th, 2022. This has been communicated by Arsenal and OL Reign on their website.
The Women’s Super League season has come to a close and the 31-year-old midfielder will help the American side out in their NWSL campaign, as theirs kickstarted just a few weeks ago.
OL Reign is delighted with the temporary return of Kim Little. She previously played at the Seattle outfit, notching 63 appearances and 32 goals.
“Bringing Kim back to the PNW is huge, Kim will go down in history as one of the best players to ever play in the NWSL and to have the chance to work with her again is exciting,” said head coach Laura Harvey on the OL Reign website.
“I’d like to thank Arsenal for helping make this happen. This is a unique opportunity for us and one that we felt could be a huge impact on our squad in a crazy summer schedule. Kim’s ability and experience will be crucial for us to help continue to push our performances forward and help continue the growth of our young squad.”
Little played for OL Reign between 2014 and 2016, winning the NWSL Shield title in 2014 and 2015.
