England international Jade Moore has signed for Orlando Pride on a one-year deal.
The 29-year-old Lioness will make the move from Women’s Super League club Reading as she joins the Pride ahead of the 2020 season.
There will be an option to extend Moore’s stay in the US for an extra year following her first season.
“Simply put, Jade is the complete midfielder,” head coach Marc Skinner said on the signing. “We’re very excited to bring her into the club and look forward to seeing her in purple when we get back to play.”
Moore will link-up with Skinner after just missing out on his reign as head coach at Birmingham City.

As a WSL centurion, the Worksop-born playmaker is no stranger to intense competition. Orlando finished bottom of the NWSL table last term – the acquirement of Moore’s services could help them climb the ranks.
The former Reading midfielder will bring experience to the middle of Orlando’s team. Moore boasts a World Cup bronze medal and SheBelieves Cup title.
“I think one of the biggest things for me is that this is a fresh challenge, a new league,” Moore commented. “When this came about it ticked every single box of what I wanted at the next part of my career.”
