Scotland win Pinatar Cup after Northern Ireland victory

Scotland win the Pinatar Cup in a clean sweep as manager Shelley Kerr and team finish the tournament as winners with three wins from three games.

The Scots’ relied on their WSL contingent to put the sword to Kenny Sheils side. Abbi Grant and Erin Cuthbert saw their efforts hit the net, cancelling out Rachel Furness’ early goal.

Scotland have seen off all their rivals in the Pinatar Cup despite Iceland being the highest FIFA-ranked team in the tournament.

Scotland looked dominant throughout the game and arguably should’ve had more goals to their tally.
