The transfer window is now open for teams in the top two tiers of Kenyan football to make new signings.
Football Kenya Federation opened the player transfer window for clubs that will take part in the 2020 FKF Women Premier League and Women Division One Leagues.
The 2020 WPL season is scheduled to kick off on February 22, 2020. Division One is slated to kick off on March 7, 2020.

A league announcement said: “The First Registration Period for both Leagues commenced on January 1, 2020, and will close on February 14, 2020, for the Kenya Women Premier League, whereas the FKF Women Division One League will end on February 28, 2020.”
Online Registration platform, Kenya Connect, and DTMS will process ever transfer and registration electronically.
A play-off tie decided the overall WPL champion. A separate game will decide the third-placed team that earns promotion.
Zone B champions Nakuru West Queens squared off with their Zone A counterparts Kahawa Queens to determine the overall winner.
A match between runners-up’s SEP Oyugis and MTG United determined who also earned promotion to the WPL.
Kahawa Queens, Nakuru West Queens, and SEP Oyugis have earned promotion to the top tier Women League. They replace Nyuki Starlets, Spedag and Vihiga Leeds.
Nyuki Starlets and Vihiga Leeds both issues three walkovers last season, leading to their relegation.
