
Vihiga Queens have won the 2019 Kenya Women’s Premier League after beating Makolanders at the Mumias Sports Complex.
This marks their third season in a row to lift the WPL trophy. The Queens thrashed Makolanders 7-0 on Saturday, retaining their title.
Makolanders redeemed themselves on Sunday however as they routed Eldoret Falcons at their home-ground 2-1.
Fourth on the log is Thika Queens who beat Spedag 2-1 away from home. Gaspo Youth maintain the second spot with 67 points.
