Storm Ciara forces clean sweep of match postponements

Storm Ciara path update: Express

The rising weather warnings of Storm Ciara have forced the Women’s Super League and Women’s Championship to call off their Sunday fixtures.

Dozens of football matches have been cancelled due to Storm Ciara’s amber alert.

Winds reaching up to 70-80mph have forced the hands of the WSL, WC and lower leagues.
