The Professional Footballers Association (PFA) announced the launch of a dedicated Women’s Football Department this week.
According to the PFA statement, the women’s department will include a Professional Football Negotiating Consultative Committee (PFNCC).
“The Women’s Football Department will build on the work we already do to support women’s football,” it reads.
“With exciting initiatives already planned to ensure female players’ best interests are voiced.”

Furthermore, this is a positive and forward-thinking move by the PFA. It not only creates a secure and stable future for today’s footballers but future generations as well.
